Looking for a Middle Aged Male who has the "Man's Man" type of voice. Recording quality will be taken into consideration. We are working with a rapidly approaching deadline which, in turn, means that we need our voice talent to complete this project and turn it over to us in approximately one week. Due to the time sensitive nature of this project, we would ask that you only audition if you are confident that you will have the time to devote to this project in order to turn it around to us in that designated amount of time. I’m convinced that 98% of the time, customer problems are caused by something we the contractors did, but in 2% of the cases, the customer is the one at fault and is only trying to take advantage of the situation.
Up until about five years ago, we all knew exactly what to do with the 2%. Every home improvement contractor has his or her favorite stories of those 2%.
The challenge today is that even when consumers are dead wrong, you can’t afford not to make them happy. That customer who did not pay you because of some bogus claim can still make your life Hell. His access to all of these websites will cost you much more business than just biting your tongue and giving in.
Unfair? Of course. But, trust me, even if you feel like you have won the battle by standing firm or not bending your ways, you will definitely lose the war.
Make them happy and move on.
