Welcome to Endicia Professional.

Here we’ll show you how to set up a Database connection. We recommend you do this because it connects Endicia Professional to your existing order database. Allowing you to print labels quickly and accurately using real-time order information. Such as name, address, and order number.

After you’ve downloaded and installed Endicia Professional, click the desktop icon to open it.

When the Database Connections pop-up window appears, click “Yes”.

This will open the Data Connections Setup wizard. Click “Next.”

Select “create a new data source.” Click “Next.”

From the drop down box, select the database type or file type that will be connected.

There are two main types of data sources:
Database servers, which include Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL.
Data files, which include Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, dBase files, Visual
FoxPro, and plain-text files.

For this tutorial, we’ll be using a comma delimited text file. Click “Next.”
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
