I am a fellow voice talent (male) who does quite a bit of recording and production work for On Hold Messages.
I have an opportunity for a female voice to record a 2 1/2 to 3 minute VO for a new client of mine who has requested a female voice for their production.
The payment amount is fixed because the dollars come from a service package price. I am also using this audition to consider inviting a couple of female voice talents to be voice options on my established On Hold Messaging service web site. The pay increases with the length of the production.
Although it's usually not needed, please plan to include one short re-take session to pick up a line or two.
A sample script is provided...full script provided upon talent selection. You may submit your generic On Hold audition if time is an issue, but it would be nice to hear you run the lines provided, if possible.
The client is a group of extended-stay, furnished apartment properties (with a single reservation line)...music will be understated and relaxing...the VO should be calm, confident and reassuring, but not over-the-top breathy/super-soothing -- we don't want to put callers to sleep -- we want them to make a reservation! :-) Use your pleasant voice to let these callers know that there is a clean, relaxing home away from home waiting for them. The audience includes professionals who are frequent travelers, administrative assistants making travel plans and discriminating pleasure travelers.
Note: What I mean by "Deliver edited and finished voice tracks" is please remove your re-starts/goofs and send only your good take(s) when selected for and providing the final VO for the finished job.
