In 1994, one of the world’s worst genocides claimed the lives of nearly 1 million people in Rwanda. For 100 days from April 7th to July 15th the two main tribes of Rwanda turned on each other killing neighbor for neighbor.

In 2006, the President of Rwanda and many ministries partnered together to officially launch Hope Rwanda. This event commemorated the 100 days of the 1994 Genocide with 100 days of proclaiming the Gospel message.

National workers along with Affect Destiny team members fanned out across the country to school after school bringing the message of Hope. In the Hope RWANDA initiative, over 2 million Books of Hope were distributed bringing hope back to the hopeless.
