Every year racing fans from around the world journey to Indianapolis for the Indy
500. Honda wanted to share the adrenaline rush of Indy car racing with consumers
across the globe by placing THEM in the driver’s seat.

Their strategy was “INSIDE THE INDY CHALLENGE”, a behind the scenes video
series that would be showcased on an interactive website hub which provided
consumers with up-to-date stats and the opportunity to engage with team members
and Honda directly.

Suite Spot was chosen to provide creative direction and execute the video series by
embedding a camera crew with the racing team chosen by Honda, and document
three races spanning from California to Brazil culminating with the legendary race
at the Indianapolis 500.

Suite Spot would capture events as they unfolded, collect rare behind-the-scenes
footage and conduct exclusive interviews to create DYNAMIC and THEMATICALLY
driven storylines.

Suite Spot worked to amplify Honda’s voice and enhance the project’s content by
creating 9 shareable stories tripling the original scope of the project. Videos would
be edited and mastered within 48 hours and slowly released throughout the week to
increase awareness for the following race.

The series was well received by fans and had a POSITIVE impact on viewers raising
AWARENESS and EXPOSURE for the HONDA BRAND to consumers around the

“INSIDE THE INDY CHALLENGE” gave the audience exclusive access to the
world of racing, while Honda was seamlessly incorporated as the engine that drove
the story from START to FINISH line.\
