Hello,
We would like a narration of the Biblical Christmas story done. We're trying to get a real storybook feel out of this. No character voices, but very endearing and vintage feeling. I will be using this recording in a multimedia project that will be sold to churches around the nation. It is a simple retelling of the Biblical Christmas story to accompany a pastor's message.

In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin named Mary who was engaged to a man named Joseph. The angel went to her and said, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High.
"How will this be," Mary asked the angel, "since I am a virgin?"
The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God
"I am the Lord's servant," Mary answered. "May it be to me as you have said." Then the angel left her.
Soon after this, Joseph discovered she was pregnant. He was angry, but determined to take care of things quietly so that Mary would not be disgraced. While he was thinking on these things an angel of the Lord appeared to him and said, “Joseph son of David, do not hesitate to get married, what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. Mary will give birth to a son and you are to give him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.”
About that time Caesar Augustus ordered a census to be taken throughout the Roman empire. So Joseph and Mary went up from Nazareth to Bethlehem, the town of David. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
There were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. Suddenly God’s angels stood among them and God’s glory blazed around them. They were terrified. The angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."
Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
"Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace, good will towards men."
So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. Sample of the script for audition purposes:
