Hockey Intro actor monologue
We need a dramatic reading of the script provided here. We're looking for a white male VO in the vein of actor Kyle Chandler's character - Eric Taylor - from the TV show Firiday Night Lights -

Again, the script needs to be read in a dramatic fashion similar to a Bob Costas intro of a major sporting event. Also similar to these examples: (the VO in the first 1:20 minute)

Bottom line: it's all about the drama since this piece will hopefully be used to hype a sporting event crowd. So please don't rush through it.

In the early 19th century, there was no more feared weapon than the sabre. As brave men rode into war on great horses, they vanquished their enemies with only the bold attack of this weapon forged in blood and steel.

Since then, the image of crossed sabres has become a symbol…a message of loyalty in a time of conflict when heroes valiantly prepare for great battle.

And here in Buffalo, we know about battles. We’ve been counted out time and time again. But when we’re faced with combat, we do not turn and run. We fight.

So, on this night…before we advance to the front lines…I grab the sabre to show my loyalty to this city and my willingness to fight for our home team. As for our enemies, I offer this warning…two simple words…. Sabres. Up.
