History of Pizza
We are producing a 15-minute training video on the History of Pizza. The video has been edited with a scratch edit VO (non-professional), and so we are going to need an experienced VO talent who can record at a similar brisk -- but not rushed -- pace so that we do not have to re-edit the video.

A 1 minute sample from the video, that matches the short script we have submitted below is located here:

Script Details

*** Please submit custom audition.
Shortly after World War Two, Americans had little choice for dinner -- they ate home-cooked meals or on special occasions, went to a restaurant. Fast-food and prepared food were just being invented.

PIZZA was a novelty you sometimes found at your local Italian restaurant. Most people hadn't even heard of it.

In fact, pizza's beginning in the USA can be traced to what many believe was the first pizzeria -- Lombardi's -- which opened in the 1920s in New York City's Little Italy.

Pizza was still a sleepy business until the 1930s when a restaurant named Patsy's invented the "slice" as a way to make more money from one big pie.
Pizza was now on its way to becoming one of America's favorite fast foods.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
