Script Details

Script for auditions below.
The natural configuration of the Gulf of Genoa, between the Promontory of the Molo (Wharf) and the Capo del Faro or Cape of the Beacon (now the Lighthouse) is characterised by a total exposition to the wind and the seas coming from the direction of exposure included between south east (Scirocco), south (Mezzogiorno) and south west (Libeccio).
The Scirocco is said to be the “ruling” wind because it is more frequent; the Libeccio “dominating” wind because it can generate much higher waves.
The “coastal water” results particularly subjected to violent breaking seas due to the considerable fetch that the offshore winds have at their disposal to generate waves. The fetch in Genoa is indeed the longest in the Mediterranean (about 1,000 kilometres) in the SW direction, starting from the coasts of Algeria.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
