Project Main Details

History Video
I am producing a 10-12 minute (approx...script not complete yet) video of the "History of Russell Stover Candies". I'm an independent producer hired by the company to complete the project. It will be used for family purposes and possibly for some B2B marketing, but will not be broadcast anywhere.

I am looking for a smooth, easy delivery. I don't want the voice to be too overpowering. I also don't want an accent or any other distinguishing characteristics. The voice should be modern, crisp, clear, and conversational and not folksy in any way. I'm sending just a small portion of the script.

Script Details

Sample script provided for auditions:

It’s always been a smooth, sweet, creamy affair… the candy business! And no one has done it better…since 1923…than **********************. The mouthwatering results are obvious. The passion for perfection is true. But the history of this candy empire is just as bit intriguing.

************** is the third largest chocolate manufacturer of chocolates in the U.S. The company produces nearly 100 million pounds of chocolate a year, and for decades has been the nation’s largest manufacturer of boxed chocolates.

1909. ******* was on leave from his job in Chicago while visiting family in Iowa City, Iowa. He darted into a confectioners shop when he came upon young Clara Lewis indulging in a chocolate sundae.
They married in June 1911, and by 1915 Mr. and Mrs. ************** were living in Chicago and selling homemade chocolates out of their apartment.
