SPOT 01 - :60 “Voices”

Today, the Daughters of Charity Health System’s six hospitals face bankruptcy, closure…

Thankfully, there’s hope: Prime Healthcare

They’ve saved 28 hospitals since 2005; protecting 35,000 jobs and countless lives. (And are recognized as one of the top 10 hospital systems in the US.)

Now, Prime Healthcare is the only hope.

The California Nurses Association urges the Attorney General to approve the sale, saying:

“There is no viable alternative to Prime.”

Sister Marjory Ann Baez on the Daughters’ board says:

“Prime Healthcare gives us hope for the future of healthcare in the communities we serve.”

Doctor Samir Desai, medical staff president at Prime’s Providence Medical Center says:

“We were on the brink of financial ruin. With Prime’s investment of time, money and resources the hospital is a stable and viable organization.”

To add your support go to, that’s, and sign the petition to protect our community hospitals.

SPOT 02 - :60 “Baby”

Bill and Mary don’t know it yet, but tomorrow they’re having a baby….

Little Tommy will arrive at 4 AM – six weeks early.

At 3:30, Bill will drive as fast as he can to the local emergency room, just a few minutes away…

What he doesn’t know is that hospital has closed. Now, the nearest ER is may be as far as 20 miles.

Today’s economy is forcing hospitals across California to shut down.

Thankfully, there is hope: Prime Healthcare.

They’ve revived 28 hospitals across the US since 2005, saving 35,000 jobs and countless lives. And are recognized as one of the top 10 hospital systems in the US.

Today, they’re the Daughters of Charity’s choice to save their 6 community hospitals, preserve jobs, pensions, and a long legacy of charity care.

To show your support, and make sure hospitals and ERs stay open to welcome even our littlest
residents, go to, that’s, and sign the petition.
