Script Details

Historical Documentary for Gun Lake Tribe. Fluid. Not too Stoic.

Native American accent
Historically, the Gun Lake Tribe was part of the Three Fires Confederacy, a union between The Pottawatomi, The Ottawa, and The Chippewa – tribes closely related both culturally and politically.

With the assistance from a Human Services Agency grant, the Council was able to compose and approve a draft constitution and tribal membership list which, after many years spent weaving it’s way through the multitudes of legal requirements and government resistance, was finally approved by the Bureau of Indian Affairs on August 23, 1999, thus recognizing our Nation as a federally acknowledged Indian tribe.
We celebrate this momentous victory every year with August 23rd as  our Tribal Holiday; both to commemorate the historic achievement and to remind us of the sacrifices made by generations of Gun Lake Pottawatomi.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
