Looking for (2) Non-Union Male Talents, as follows:
GUY 1 & GUY 2
Age Range: Late twenties to early 40's
Ethnicity GUY 1: African American
Ethnicity GUY 2: African American or white non-hispanic.
Gender: Male
Requirements: Good character voice. Experienced. Be able to show good range and be able to follow direction.
Tone & Feel: Needs to feel blue collar (e.g. warehouse or hard-hat worker), kind of rough around the edges. Confident yet warm. Natural read. Real and believable.
Additional Instructions: Not an Announcer voice. This is NOT a corporate spot. This spot is an exchange between two work buddies who know each other well and have worked together for a long time.
DATE AVAILABILITY: MUST be available to work anytime on January 14th & 15th, at a recording studio of our choice.
RATE: $1500 each (including agent fee, if any) for 1-:40/20 and the :20/:10 version/tag.
PAYMENT TERMS: Payment is processed through a talent payment agency. Payment takes anywhere from 30-45 days, but we always try to pay, earlier, if possible.
CONTRACT TERMS: 1 yr. full audio buyout, national, with 2nd yr. option plus 10%. Revisions prior to airdate will be paid at a session fee of $150. Should final recording not be used for broadcast, talent will be paid $500, as a flat session fee (including agent fee, if any).
There may also be an opportunity to record a second :20/:10 version/tag, where the product and/or price changes, but it is just a possibility. If additional version/tag is recorded, an additional $500 will be paid.
LOCATION: Ideally, talent will be located in LA or surrounding areas, DALLAS, HOUSTON, AUSTIN, ATLANTA, MIA, CHICAGO, VA, but we will accept auditions from any of the 50 states, as long as there's access to a studio that can connect via Source Connect or ISDN.
DEMOS: Talent must identify himself on the demo and their location. Talent should read both characters. Two or three reads of the script showing different range, would be appreciated.
CASTING DATES: All demos must be received by EOD on Thursday, January 3rd. MP3 format is preferred.
