Regardless of your arrival time you should have nothing to eat or drink after midnight. The exception to this is that you may have pain medications with sips of water prior to the procedure. If you are taking other medications, discuss these with Dr. Heddings or one of his nurses to determine if you should take them prior to surgery.
In particular, If you are on any medications that thin the blood other than aspirin, you should discuss this with Dr. Heddings or one of his nurses as soon as possible to determine if you should continue this medication prior to your surgery.
Day of surgery bring:
• Drivers license/other form of identification
• Insurance card if applicable
• A bag w/ 1-2 nights of personal items if there is a chance you could stay overnight inpatient
• Medications or medication list from home
• Someone to drive you home for same day surgeries
You should arrive in admissions at the time given you by one of my nurses.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
