Paragraph 1
Lean East is a health campaign set up in the East End of Newcastle to tackle the rising numbers of overweight children. We joined the ‘On the Go’ physical activity programme for 8 – 16 year olds taking part in rowing and gym activities.

Lean East is a health campaign set up in the East End of Newcastle to tackle the rising numbers of overweight children. Newcastle nutrition run family sessions on food and health. Children and parents can develop new cooking skills together, and learn about nutrition and healthy eating.
Paragraph 3
The kids cabin was set up in the East End of Newcastle for households which have bikes in need of repair. This free scheme gets the bikes roadworthy again and teaches young people the skills to maintain them - getting the youngsters back on their bikes again and fitter!
