Project Main Details

We have an (approximately) 10 minute video that we need narrated. It is a low key read, history of our client's company. Kind of in the Ken Burns documentary vein.

We would like to get started on it, even though our script isn't completed yet. It's a historic look at the company's 75 years in business and we have all the information from the start to 15 years ago (the last time they did a video like this.) We're still meeting with them to get the details of the last 15 years.

So, here is what I am looking at:

Approx. 10 minute narration for video, you record and send us MP3 files, we will do the editing.

Two main sessions - we'll go ahead and record the script as it is now (already approved by the client) - approximately 7 minutes
Second session will be the new information (last 15 years) - approximately 3 minutes

I would allow for a couple "changes" sessions, fixing pronunciations if necessary, or last minute additions or fixes. We can edit in sections as necessary.

This is only scheduled to be shown one time, at our client's annual sales banquet in September. They might want to distribute some on DVD to key people within their company and some of their clients. It will not be broadcast publicly, with the possible exception that we might show clips on our agency's website as a sample of our agency's work.

I've included a piece of the latest draft of the script. This is more to show the type of narrative this is. We do not need to have an audition of this, providing your own demo is okay.

Script Details

Sample for auditions:

In 1906, New York Harbor greeted immigrants
from all over the world seeking a new life in the
United States.

Among the crowds to arrive that year was an 11
year old boy from a small village in Russia.

Travelling alone, Max Weinstein was on a journey
to reunite with his father in Sheboygan,
Wisconsin. Max’s father had come to this country
a couple years before and saved enough
money to send for his son by boat and train.

As a young man, Max’s family moved from Sheboygan
to Prairie du Sac and it was here that he
started his first entrepreneurial venture, a retail
dry goods store and broom factory.

Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
