Maria: Disaster Operations Center, how can I help you?
Clara: This is Clara Smith from the Los Angeles chapter. We just got word from local emergency management that there have been two explosions along the Tournament of Roses parade that started about an hour ago!! There are over a million people at the event this year!
Maria: Did you say two explosions? That is horrible! We're all watching for news updates now but it’s not on there yet… Do you know where the explosions occurred exactly Clara?
Clara: One occurred in the grandstand area on Colorado Boulevard, which usually has over 70,000 people on it!! They didn’t say exactly where the other explosion occurred, only that there were two! That’s all I know…I have to go…we’ll call you back when we know more.
Patricia: We have no information on this but will reach out to Department of Homeland Security immediately and get back to you as soon as possible.
Patricia: Wait a minute we are seeing on TV that there has been some sort of nuclear explosion there! We’ll gather more information right away. What is your name and number?
