M.S.H- Thank you Thelma, Kitty How are you
CATHERINE HERSHEY: (enthusiastic) Never better! Oh, Milton, the house looks just wonderful for tonight’s party!
SFX: We now hear the sounds of exotic birds - parrots and cockatoos - in the background….”Braack! Chaak-chaaaak!”
M.S.H: Is that the parrots I hear?
CATHERINE: Yes, with all the activity, they’re quite excited. .
SFX: Parrot squawking for goodies in the background “Brrrraaaaaarack! Polly wanna candy! Polly wanna candeeeeee! “
M.S.H : Oh my, who taught him THAT? Father, right?
CATHERINE: How did you guess? : But don’t worry, your Father will have plenty of stories to keep our guests in stitches.

(aside to Aunt Mattie) Aunt Mattie, people like my products, but we’re running out of money to pay the rent on the shop.
AUNT MATTIE: (wearily) I know, Milton…I know. You must write to your Uncle Abraham. Perhaps he can send money to help you.
MILTON: I hope so, If not, I’m afraid we will soon be out of business.
