Script Details

This would be of a technical nature, so clear pronunciation and a moderate pace is important.

See script below:
“Hello, I’m Lea Smith, a certified Federal Aviation Association Designated Engineering Representative (DER).
Welcome to CertTech Training Solution’s introductory course on DO-178B standards.
DO-178B is the worldwide avionics software standard with which all airborne software is required to comply.
“DO178B is considered the world’s strictest software standard, and impacts many other fields which include medical devices, transportation and nuclear power. “
“These standards derive from the Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics or the RTCA. “

“The RTCA functions as a Federal Advisory Committee.

Its’ recommendations are adopted by the U.S. Government’s Federal Aviation Administration as a basis for policy, program and regulatory decisions

and by the private sector as the basis (guide?) for development. “

At the end of the module there will be a proficiency test to determine that you have established the designated level of understanding necessary to move on to the next module.

You can stop the course at any point and return to complete it when convenient.

Begin by clicking on the “START” button below. Thank you”.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
