Project Main Details

Female Narrator - Basketball Museum
This is the re-posting of a job originally posted in June. However, our museum client has changed their mind about the talent they originally chose, and they'd like to recast the female narrator. But, all the custom demos previously posted to Voice123 are no longer available, since we've pasted the expiration date. If you still have your original audition file, please re-post it. Otherwise, feel free to record a new demo.

Only custom auditions submitted through Voice123 will be considered.

Seeking a non-union female narrator to voice a museum exhibit video for a college basketball museum. Approx. 22-minutes of video, consists of a series of 1-minute bio profiles of specific college basketball coaches and players, will play in the museum exhibit.

Budget is limited, and flexibility is appreciated. We can pay at least $300.

Below is a sample from the script for your custom demo.

Script Details

NARRATOR: Sportswriters know him as “The Wizard of Westwood.” Those who played for him, and learned from him, know him simply as “Coach.”

John Wooden grew up in farmhouse near Centerton, Indiana. Guided by strong family values, good books and a passion for the game of basketball, John Wooden became a standout scholar/athlete.

Playing at Purdue, he was a three time All-American. As coach of Indiana State, he led the Sycamores to the 1948 NAIA Tournament.

Then, at UCLA, John Wooden built a basketball dynasty. With squads featuring Hall of Famers Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Bill Walton, Coach Wooden’s Bruins won 12 National Titles, seven of them in a row.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
