Script Details

I don't want this script to be read very formal, and I want it to be read as a young adult voice.
In May 1984, the year in which Nokia launched the first transportable mobile phone and when MTV decided it was time to launch the MTV Music Awards and six whole years before the first ever web browser was created Little baby Mark Zuckerberg was born in New York.

Whilst growing up Mark showed great talent for programming, creating several programs. His most impressive being Synapse, a music player that had the ability to learn the users listening habits and suggest new songs. This sparked massive interest from Microsoft and AOL who both fought to recruit Zuckerberg only for him to turn them both down to go to Harvard University.

It was there during Marks first year in 2004 that “The Facebook.com” was launched from Mark’s very own university dorm room. The site, which was only available to students within Harvard, within 24 hours, very quickly received over 1200 registrations. It didn’t take long until Mark opened up TheFacebook.com to other universities, before then opening up to school students, until finally becoming available to anyone as well as they were over the age of 13. In 2005 Mark purchased Facebook.com for $200,000, which is about £120,805. This meant ‘The Facebook’ finally dropped the word ‘the’ and turned it into the name we all know and love today. In fact typing in ‘Thefacebook.com’ will still take you to Facebook.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
