Project Main Details

Engergy Campaign
I need to find a female and male to do a conversational script. The audience is under-served 17 - 18 year olds. I need the voices to be hip, cool, urban but not over the top. You are trying to get the kids excited about the topic.

Because this is a conversational piece, after talent is select, I will send both talents each other vo so you can react to each others voice.

Script Details

***I need the voices to be hip, cool, urban but not over the top. You are trying to get the kids excited about the topic.

***The script has both female and male, please just read appropriate lines.
V1 (Male): We can control what is seemingly out of our control. From earth, water, wind, fire—comes energy—created by the natural world. Three of these resources produce unlimited energy. The other represents the ground on which we stand. Ground that we must preserve, protect.

-Icons (4) appear and join as one to form logo
-Small video frames (Video montage B) appear toward bottom of people living daily lives (relying on energy)

V2 (Female): Welcome to The **********

Scene 2 (What Energy Powers)

-Video Montage B (from scene 1) fills the screen. Rapid succession of video, simultaneous, overlapping. Shows people in vehicles, pumping gas, playing video games, at sports venues, on phones, at concerts, etc. Keys in on electricity sources, gas/oil sources. Lights, stereos, cars being turned on. Clips get faster and faster.

V2 (Female): Energy is everywhere. We count on it—day and night.

-Graphic of objects (car, computer, camera, etc.) surrounding icon of the elements

V1 (Male): Billions of people go about their lives using fuel and electricity to power cars, phones...
V2 (Female): …video games, computers, televisions, cameras, lights, homes

Scene 3 (Non-Renewable Energy)

-Video of oil rig on land and in the ocean, coal excavator inside mine or on mountain top, drill on land (nat. gas) or gas well burning off excess (flame on top of smokestack)

V1 (Male): Now listen to this. We depend—almost completely, on energy created from non-renewable resources. Oil, coal, natural gas, and uranium for nuclear power. And like anything that is in limited supply. The more you use...
V2 (Female): …the less you have. What would [video cuts out, simulates power outage] we do if we lost power. Everyone has been home during a power outage. No big deal right, light a few candles, wait it out.
V1 (Male): But what if the power didn't come back on? It's not out of the question.

Scene 4 (Renewable Energy)

-Video of surfer riding pipeline

V1 (Male): There are new ways to create fuel and electricity—new ways. Surfers have been harnessing the energy from waves for over a thousand years. Easier said than done, right? (surfer falls off board)

-Video of person chasing paper that is blowing in the wind

V1 (Male): Sometimes we find ourselves chasing the wind. Not so easy. But when we know where the strongest winds will be, when we're ready and waiting—we can harness energy.

-Video of outfielder losing sight of ball in the sun

V2 (Female): Everyone counts on the sun for energy, (ball hits outfielder or hits ground) not just the opposing team. Solar panels collect it—and not just for calculators. More and more homes are using it to power nearly everything.
