Project Main Details

Egyptian mummy podcast narration
We have a fast-turnaround (last-minute) need for narration for a brief podcast video we are producing for our upcoming EGYPT show. This must be recorded this week -- if you cannot record this week, please do not respond. Thank you!

Total narration/recording is only about one page or approx a minute. Should be easy to do, but has a couple of names we will provide pronunciations for. We need your WAV file sent by, ideally tomorrow 10/8 if humanly possible.

Appreciate hearing an audition script today if possible -- unless you have extensive documentary narration work under your belt.

Stipend is $100 and we'll send two free tickets to the show. Must have SS# or Tax ID in order to be paid.

Script Details

Juh-HOOTY-knocked (soft on the O in knocked – almost an AH sound)

Inside of Tomb 10A, resting not inside but on top of the governor’s coffin, a mummified head was found.

The head had been ripped from the body by tomb robbers.

It’s carefully wrapped in linen, with elegant painted eyebrows, but these details offer no clues as to whether this is the governor or his wife.

To try to solve this mystery, the mummy’s head was studied at Massachusetts General Hospital by Doctors Paul Chapman and Rajiv Gupta.

Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
