David: Soy canadiense. Soy de Toronto. ¿Y ustedes?
David: I speak English but I don’t speak Spanish very well. I’d like to practice as much as we can. By the way, are you meetin’ up with Mrs. Romero, the Study Abroad Coordinator?
David: phone just buzzed. I think that I got a text from someone.
David: It says: ¡Hola, Paloma, David y Sophia! Perdóname, pero estoy atrasada. Llego a las cuatro y media. Nos vemos pronto.
David: Es otra estudiante del programa. It sounds like the Señora is runnin’ late. Let’s locate Paloma and get some food. I’m starvin.’
David: I am not sure I understand what the text means. I think the reunión is meeting. Reunimos is similar to reunión. Do you think that they could mean the same thing? I bet that she is running late to the meeting.
David: Es las tres on the dot! I didn’t say that right, did I?
David: ¿A qué hora es the meeting with señora Romero? Wow. This is hard!
David: Excellent! We have just enough time to locate the other student and get some food.
