Project Main Details

Early childhood teacher character
ZDLTK15207386913X
A warm, fun, and friendly male voice talent is needed to portray a teacher character in a series of computer delivered academic tutorials for children ages 4-8. Vocal quality should be supportive and enthusiastic, yet calm and centered. Clean pronunciation required as several content areas are sound-centric (e.g. a rhyming tutorial). Musicality and metered speech are components of some scripts.

Recording will take place in Manhattan during the last week of August 2008.

Sample script:
(spoken to a jazzy snare drum beat)

If you want to rhyme, and I know you do, I’ve got just the egg for you. Humpty-Dumpty is his name, his names rhyme, they end the same...Can ya hear it...? Humpty (beat, beat) sounds like Dumpty...(drum ends) Now stop me if you’ve heard this one-

You know it. Now fall and wall are rhyming words. They have the same ending, “all.”

Rhyming words don’t have to end with the sound, “all.” They can end with any sound as long as it’s the same sound.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
