Script: As you’ve seen, the positive airway pressure mask is an effective method of alleviating the physical symptoms of apnea, and offers several variations to individualize treatment. Depending upon individual diagnosis, other treatments may also be considered, and include temporary mouth pieces, and surgical techniques that permanently correct or eliminate the physical attributes that cause snoring, like enlarged adenoids and excess tissue in the palate and throat.
