Project Main Details

EPA 2010
This project is an introduction to a web video panel discussion addressing the new EPA 2010 regulations for the trucking industry. It weighs the issue of the two treatment methods in eliminating NOx emissions as mandated by the EPA.

The read should be "straight-up"
- No drama, but with the appropriate inflections
- It’s a "plain talk" read . . . intended to educate all levels of viewers.
- Make sure on the file you post the volume is set correctly, as several postings have been too low and that automatically knocks you out of contention for the part.

Thank you for your interest.

Script Details

Sample script:

EPA 2010 Read

As you may know, in the year 2000, the Environmental Protection Agency moved forward with a schedule to ensure that medium and heavy-duty trucks run cleaner. With these regulations, engine and truck manufacturers have worked very hard to meet these deadlines and deliver reliable fuel efficient engines to their customers. So, as 2010 approaches, what do the latest engine regulations mean to you?

For 2010, the EPA will require that NOx emission from medium and heavy-duty trucks are reduced to near zero levels, .2 grams NOx to be precise. That’s down over 99% from pre-2004 levels.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
