Project Main Details

E Learning project with informal casual tone
Looking for another voice over for our video based training products. Our e-lerarning is a little different than others in terms of delivery. We try to create a live fee from the voice preson so that it feels like you are actually speaking directly to someone sitting right next to you. It's important to have a casual, informal tone. THink of the tone as how you would talk to one of your friends on the phone. This is NOT A COMMERCIAL. Any auditions that sound like they're selling something won't be considered.

We teach users how to use CAD software, and want the user to feel like the instructor is talking to them directly, rather than an announcer type of voice who is speaking to an arbitrary audience.

Script Details

Here's a short script from one of our products for audition purposes. Feel free to use contractions to make the script roll off the tongue easier and sound more natural:

In this approach what we’re going to do is incorporate symmetry from the very beginning at the sketch level. I’ll use a centerline and the sketch mirror tool to copy over this geometry to the other side. Notice that I select all of the sketch geometry, including the centerline to mirror the sketch elements.

I’ll extrude that a quarter inch and continue on. Next I’m going to put in the countersink hole up here at the top. Once again a through all, quarter inch hole, centered with respect to this arc.

I’ll continue on with the next feature which is going to be the block. Since I don’t have an edge to dimension to, I can dimension to the origin, or put in a centerline attached to the center of the part as a reference. I still have the challenge of centering the sketch to keep it from moving side to side. Like I did before, I’ll use a centerline, but with a slightly different technique for centering.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
