As a police officer for more than three decades, Andrew Ngong Tem witnessed firsthand the steady deterioration of his nation.
But reading Dianetics restored his hope for the future. So much so, he traveled 800 miles and across the border into Nigeria to attend the nearest Dianetics workshop.
And after a week, he resolved to take Dianetics back to the people of Cameroon.
From his home in Mutengene, Andrew enlisted family and friends and set out to spread the word of Dianetics.
He began with an open invitation to the first ever Dianetics seminar in that nation.
Then it was the purchase of commercial airtime on a local radio station reaching more than 6000 listeners – and all of it paid out of pocket.
And with that, they poured in for the Saturday seminar –
– From the villages of Tiko, Limbe and even as far away as Douala, Cameroon’s most populous city.
In all, better than 100 packed the park.
A month later it was 500 more – and this time the agenda was Dianetics training.
By October, it was still more –
– Until, and in just three months, from a single Dianeticist, there were now upwards of eight hundred officially on the roster of Cameroon’s Pioneer Dianetics Auditors! partial script added for audition:
