Project Main Details
We only need the character voice!! We have some one already for narration.
The best way I can describe him is a cross between Humphrey Bogart and Inspector Jacques Clouseau. He wants and tries to be serious but he's just too clumsy and dumb.
Initially we are creating a simple 3-4 minute demo video for marketing purposes. I've provided a sample of the script for you to read (only the Detective-DD parts are necessary).
I NEED AN ESTIMATE FOR ONLY THE DEMO VIDEO RIGHT NOW.
The person chosen for the detective voice will of course work with us on the actual 6 video series in the near future. Thanks. Mar 14, 2008 09:44:44 (GMT -06:00) Central Time (US & Canada) Mar 19, 2008 12:00:00 (GMT -06:00) Central Time (US & Canada) Yes (click here to learn more about

Script Details
OFF-SCREEN ANN: It’s midnight in the big city…and as the city sleeps, one man takes on the case of trucking safety. He’s legendary among super detectives and a master of disguises. The mere mention of his name strikes terror to the hearts of those on the wrong side of the law.
DETECTIVE: The name’s Diesel...Detective Diesel, Special Agent Double O…Double O. Hey, I can never remember that last number…I was never very good at numbers anyway.
ANN: Agent Double O five…maybe Double O six?
DD: Yeah, somewhere around there – six and seven-eights or something. Now where was I? Oh yeah, I remember…I’m on a big case, looking for highway safety …safety every driver relies on to get home after each trip.
ANN: Sounds like a big case, Diesel. So what drags you to the terminal at this time of the night?
DD: I do my best work at night when people least expect it
ANN: Don’t you mean “suspect” it? and…one other thing, Diesel. I don’t think that disguise is going to help you around here.
DD: Yeah, right. You get the picture. So, you’re a professional driver…am I wrong?
ANN: No, Diesel. You’re right on the money. So how can I help you?
DD: Actually, you might say I’m here looking for evidence.
ANN: Evidence?
DD: Evidence of safety…and I’d like to start by inspecting this rig.
ANN: Oh, you mean you want me to take you through the pre-trip inspection?
DD: Yea, yea, that’s it.
ANN: This is the important part -- a thorough pre-trip inspection involves attention to detail that could save you time, money and more importantly, your life…plus, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s regulations Part 392.7 requires a pre-trip inspection at the start of every driving day – and you can find a checklist of items to be inspected, either in your logbook or from your safety department.
DD: Hey… Let’s keep the Federal connection on the down-low. I’m working undercover. So where do I begin? Portion of the script provided for audition purposes only:
DETECTIVE: The name’s Diesel...Detective Diesel, Special Agent Double O…Double O. Hey, I can never remember that last number…I was never very good at numbers anyway.
DD: Yeah, somewhere around there – six and seven-eights or something. Now where was I? Oh yeah, I remember…I’m on a big case, looking for highway safety …safety every driver relies on to get home after each trip.
