Script Details

*Sample script provided for auditions.
When Dr. William Sears was a young intern at Children’s Hospital Boston in 1972 he realized that after 10 years of medical education he didn’t know how to answer the simple, practical questions of parents. Questions like…“Do we pick up our baby every time he cries?” or ”How long should our child be nursed?” Dr. Sears vowed to find the answers. After finishing his residency at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada, and interviewing countless parents, Dr. Sears published his first book “Creative Parenting”…launching him into the spotlight as a popular medical and parenting expert. Dr. Bill, as he was known by patients, had plenty of chances to put his advice to work while raising a family of eight children, among which was the ever thoughtful and compassionate Jim.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
