Project Main Details
Dark Regards is a love-letter to the space opera genre. As a motion comic, the grandiose nature of the universe present in all of the best space opera themed works is represented faithfully in the style of the comic and the script it is built around.
I would prefer voice actors and actresses who have a genuine love for science fiction which is why I've included so much information in the attached ZIP archive.
I need a range of voice actors and actresses talented in doing character based voice overs, and have a wide vocal range. I've attached a ZIP archive with information on each role in the Character Styles PDF, the races featured in Issues One and Two in the Dark Regards Races PDF, and the first two issues of the comic's script in PDF form. If this is something that interests you, please feel free to audition. I excitedly wait to listen to them!

"Three. Two. One. Detonation."
Mityrian Citizens 1 and 2
M1: "Oh, I didn’t see anyone else here! Yes... it’s all just so large compared to the smaller outer-rim towns like Kikeppa".
M2: "I’m guessing this is your first time in the capital? I couldn’t help but notice your expression of shock."
"We ask that all ambassadors please keep calm. We sympathize with the great losses the Mityrians and the Illyrians have endured, but level heads must prevail before a proper investigation can be conducted. "
"The Nyl’Etian delegation assures our friends, the Illyrians and the Mityrians that no such singularity technology is presently being developed or in existence in any of our facilities. With an Aetherian Moderator in accompaniment, we offer representatives from the Illyrian and the Mityrian delegations the ability to inspect our facilities should our word not be enough. "
"TIYEP WAS BUILT OVER SEVERAL MILLENIA, ONLY TO BE NEARLY COMPLETELY LEVELED IN A NIGHT? JUSTICE MUST BE SWIFT AND PAINFUL FOR THOSE RESPONSIBLE!"
"Important research data has been lost. We side with the Mityrians in their rage and wish to crush those who have spit in the name of progress. The IRDQ has never been breached, only two races besides the Illyrians could possess the type of technology needed to render our defenses useless. The Nyl’Etians and the Aetherians. Our delegation recognizes however that our standing with these races has been nothing short of excellent, so the mystery eludes us yet. "
"The Kyuri consider AUS Directive ICT7 to be a hindrance towards the further development of our race. Why should we protect all of the inferior species when they occupy valuable resources that could benefit us all? "
Aetherian Lead Engineer
It has certainly been some time since we’ve seen damage of this scale. Fortunately we have arrived, and soon enough your city will return to its former glory.
Aetherian Engineer 2 and 3
Indeed. Let us begin.
Mytirian Crisis Overseer
Your assistance is heartily appreciated. We’ve been able to relocate most of our governmental functions to Kyrr while these repairs are under way.
I’d like to thank everyone who was able to be present here with us tonight as we celebrate the re-opening of Sector Z after the tireless work our dedicated engineers have put forward into making sure that operations here at the IRDQ return to normal.
Dark Sector Controller
Thanks to your compliance in donating a strand of your DNA, we were able to tune our facilities into the proper frequency required for assisting you with integration. All you need to do is sit in the chair and relax your mind.
Banexian Citizen 1
This is my favorite spot to come to. I always make sure that my first memory of every new cycle is in this park. I wish I knew who the architect was, I would give them my thanks.
Banexian Citizen 2
Oh did you recently complete a cycle? Congratulations. I must agree with you, the tranquility that you can find here is simply priceless.
Something must be done to stop these attacks. How are any of us supposed to defend ourselves when at any second someone with technology beyond any of the other delegations can simply decide to show up and destroy an entire city or more? Over one hundred Banexians were killed in the attack on one of our public parks. A crater now sits where one of our most beloved locations once was. This technology is like nothing I’ve ever seen.
We will only be able to stall the emergency summits for so long. If more delegations continue to be assaulted we will have to do something to put the Summit at ease. Doling out quick assistance has quelled any major disruption, but what will happen if we have to send engineers to every delegation in advance of a crisis just for security’s sake? The citizens of each delegation will become increasingly troubled and they may question our judgement. What good is repairing cities if they can simply be destroyed again?
