The aviation industry is on the rebound. More people are taking to the skies than ever before, and not just in the US, but around the world. In fact, in 2012, even Airline stocks soared, giving investors a return that surpassed the S&P 500 average by a wide margin.
However, this industry rebound is far from reaching it's arch - Airlines in the US and aboard are reinvesting in their infrastructure to provide their customers with cost effective domestic and international travel solutions by retiring older aircraft for newer, modern, fuel efficient airplanes made by companies like: Boeing, who described the current industry landscape as “resilient,” and cite that “despite uncertainties, 2012 passenger traffic rose 5.3 percent from 2011 level, [and] [they] expect this trend to continue over the next 20 years, with world passenger traffic growing 5.0 percent annually."
These compelling foresights coming from the largest airframe manufacture in the world. Boeing went on to conclude that they “forecast [this] long-term demand for 35,280 new airplanes [to] [be] valued at $4.8 trillion dollars.”
This influx in aircraft purchase orders puts quite a bit of pressure on existing aircraft component providers, who, surprisingly have not evolved with the needs of the industry leaving a glaring opportunity for company's like Elite Aviation Services to offer quality, machined, metallic aviation parts to company's like Boeing and Airbus.
