Project Main Details

College Website Instructional Video
We are producing an instructional video for a college's new e-scheduling system and need a young adult female voice to do the voice over. We really like the pacing and intonation of the Apple instructional videos on their site. Here are some examples:

(click the "Photos" link on the left)

For our original proof, we did the video with a computer generated voice. The script has since changed, but to give you a better idea, here is a link to the video we are producing:

Welcome to the electronic class schedule for the *********************************************************

We've implemented this new technology for a number of reasons.

First, the printed class schedule became outdated very quickly. It was only current on the day the files went to our printer.

We update our E-schedule routinely assuring that you are seeking the most current class listings.

Secondly, the new E-schedule will allow you to filter the schedule listings. With the E-schedule, navigate to what you want to read and search data the way you want to see it. You're in control.

And lastly, we are doing our part, eliminating our printed class schedule reduces the amount of paper we use each term. Simply put, the fewer class schedules we print, the better it is for our environment.

Now let's take a look at the E-schedule. Follow along as we show you the many highlights and features of the online listing of our classes.

When you visit ************************, you will see links on the right side of the page directing you to the class schedule. Clicking this link will take you to the E-schedule.

You can click directly to the program that interests you or you can search classes at specific sites by clicking the locations tab at the top of the page.

Want to jump back to the top menu listing? No problem.

By clicking the top column descriptors, you can sort the information by class title, days of the week, or time of day. Many of the descriptors have explanation bubbles above as you hover your cursor over them.

You can chose the number of classes you'd like to view at one time.

These icons arrows allow you to move the class listing forward or backward.

Our search feature allows you to type a portion of the names of classes and search for those classes as you might in Google or Yahoo. For instance, just type in English and the search will result in all the English classes we're offering for that semester.

Select the classes that interest you, and they populate in a personal printing cart. When you've filled the cart with the classes you are most interested in, just click the print button.
When you have printed your list, it will provide you with all the information you need to complete your registration process.

If you’d like to remove any classes from your list, click the red delete buttons to the right of each class.

If you want to put a class back in, click the recycle button and click the green return buttons to the right of the class you want to bring back into your list.

Now that you've seen many of the features of ********** electronic class schedule, we invite you to browse around. Thanks for your interest in ************************** where we're changing lives and changing Indiana.
