Thank you for your interest in the GreenSpark point of sale system, the simple and effective way to increase efficiency at your food establishment.
This instruction video will show you how to install and setup the base system.
The base system consists of just five main components:
Firstly: The iPad. As a minimal requirement an iPad 2 should be used with at least 16 G’Bytes of memory.
Secondly: The Case. This can be any casing system you prefer.
Thirdly: The Printers. Our base system consists of two printers; a thermal printer which is used for bar orders and guest receipts, and a matrix printer for kitchen orders.
Next: Wireless technology. The GreenSpark system operates wirelessly giving you complete freedom to use it anywhere on your premises. Printers are made wireless using Apple Airport Express devices.
And finally: Internet. The GreenSpark application simply needs an active Internet connection to communicate to the GreenSpark Portal.
So let’s get started: Firstly, decide on the right position for your GreenSpark system and that is where you will install your iPad case. Please remember that you will need a power outlet at this location.
So now you’re ready to select a location for your printers. Again, the only thing needed here is access to a power outlet as each printer is connected to an apple airport express. The rest of your network can be configured as described on the website under “network configuration”
Next the iPad needs to be setup with the GreenSpark app. You can find this app by searching for “GreenSpark” in the Apple AppStore. When your installation is done, please position and lock your iPad in its case.
You are now ready to setup your restaurant. Use a PC or laptop and browse to www.clovertwo.com/signup. This page will guide you through setting up a user account and select the package that is best fitting for your restaurant.
The great thing about CLOVERTWO / GREENSPARK is that your package is monthly up- or down gradable depending on your requirements, meaning you are always in control.
If you login to the GreenSpark portal you can configure everything from your own restaurant layout right down to your menus. More information about this can be found on the CloverTwo website under “screencasts”.
Enter your login and password on the iPad. The system will start its initial configuration process. As soon as this is done you’ll be ready to get started.
Congratulations, it really is as simple as that! Your GreenSpark Point of Sales system is now ready for use!
