Do you experience contractions of neck muscles that make your head twist or turn to one side? Sometimes the contractions are sustained (?), and at other times cause repetitive, jerky head movements that are very painful? Does it seem like you have no control over this serious problem?
(Beat) You may have a condition called cervical dystonia, or CD.
Doctors don’t completely understand what causes CD. Ways to manage CD include injections, medications and surgery. Even with all this, nothing has been proven to cure CD.
Currently in this area, there is a clinical research study for men and women between ages 18 and 75 who have, or think they may have, CD. Information is available at CD trial dot com or by calling 1.800.***.****.
