Children's Christmas Book Narration ZDLTK152049475355X
This is a children's rhyming christmas book with illustrations and we want to be able to offer an accompanying CD with narration. It is the story of a boy who loses his tooth on Christmas eve and worries about the tooth fairy not coming because it's Santa's night. As it turns out both the tooth fairy and Santa Claus arrive at the same time and accidentally switch bags. When the boy and his brother realize what has happened they must ask for help from the Wish fairy to put things back right. There is some excitement as the story unfolds. It should have a whimsical slightly mysterious tone to it like a cross between Harry Potter and Dr Seuss (not too foreboding or dark but with a little tension). The characters include Jack (around 10 yrs old), his older brother Ted (about 15), their mother, the Tooth fairy (younger-sounding voice), and the Wish Fairy (older-sounding voice). Santa has no speaking parts. It would be nice to have intro and outro music with a magical theme and possibly some occasional special effects when a fairy appears, waves a wand, etc. Background music at a lower level is also possible but not necessary.
Looking for one person to do all voices.

Suddenly, there appeared,
All bedazzled in red,
A small angry fairy
Who huffed as she said,
“Young man, do you realize
The trouble you’re in?
This could cost you the privilege
Of wishing again!
“It’s nobody’s birthday
Here at this place.
I’ve double- and triple-checked
“But, Miss Fairy,” Jack said,
“I’ll explain and you’ll find
I’ve gotten myself
In a terrible bind!”
“Okay, sonny, let’s hear
What your story’s about
But please make it quick
‘Fore my patience runs out.”
Jack told her his story
Not a detail left out.
He finally convinced her
That she should help out.
“Kids, go back to sleep.
I know what to do:
Reverse magic with magic
Before the night’s through.”
