Horseracing is the second most widely attended U.S. spectator sport. It has a large following of those who enjoy its glamour, tradition, and gambling opportunities.
While many romanticize the sport, only a select few are aware of the abuse that the horses face. Or of the fact that many horses are killed after poor race performance.
Through our campaign, “Pony Slaughter”, we will expose the harsh realities of a horse’s life beyond the racetrack.
To do this we will enter our own horse into the Kentucky Derby.
A horse that is destined to lose.
A horse named “Pony Slaughter”.
