Hi there,

Posting this one again because the direction has shifted so much. Thanks for taking the time to look again. The tone we are looking for here is that of an action movie trailer VO but just not too over the top. In fact not over the top at all but definitely want to feel the action in your voice. It starts more subdued.

THIS IS NOT FOR BROADCAST. I just didn't like any of the options there.

This is what’s at stake when you’re tasked with unleashing the next installment of the world’s most celebrated gaming franchise. So when we were told the newest installment of Call of Duty had an ace up its sleeve, we knew it deserved an entirely different manner of deployment.

Hollywood A-lister ************ was now taking on his next unforgettable role as the main villain of ****************, which of course, raised the stakes to an even higher level.

So, exactly how do you reveal the news that gaming’s biggest juggernaut has now teamed up with one of Hollywood’s most respected actors?

In a way that no one would see coming; (PAUSE) a tiny 10-second audio clip.

See, in the game, ****** delivers a speech about power and democracy. We leaked a clip from this speech onto the web without saying where it came from, fanning the flames of Internet speculation.

But there was more. Embedded in the audio was a secret waiting to be discovered.

An innovative use of spectrogram technology allowed us to place a hidden image right into the audio DNA itself, which only became visible when run through an audio visualizer.

The image was of the key art for the game, finally connecting ************ to ******************************.

But that was just the beginning. We then took the creative technology of the spectrogram idea and coupled it with a full court press PR approach that would allow us to seed and build a one-of-a-kind story that would build unprecedented conversation and drive unparalleled excitement across numerous media outlets.

Complex picked up on the audio file and shared it with its audience.

Entertainment Weekly then speculated as to its nature.

Variety cracked the hidden image and pointed to ************.

YouTube influencers confirmed the Call of Duty connection.

And all of this culminated with the biggest PR moment; (pause) landing us on Yahoo’s homepage.

In the end, ************’s reveal in ****************************** dominated social conversation with an unprecedented 90% positive sentiment.

It also led to all-time high views for the ****************************** reveal trailer, which coincided with the ****** announcement.

The full breadth of this idea cost less than $25,000 to produce and resulted in over 300 million potential impression -- the equivalent of an 8¢ CPM.

Which just goes to show, the one two punch of killer creativity and boundary-breaking PR is the most powerful weapon a brand can unleash.
