Project Main Details
The camp is pronounced KO-BEE-ACK
The read needs to be directed at kids/teens and needs to get them excited about going to camp. The area talking about activities needs to be higher energy. Some of the sections should be read a little slower. Use your discretion on that. 2011-08-11 17:38:45 GMT 2011-08-13 14:52:20 (GMT -05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) Yes (click here to learn more about ) Closed - Note: This project was manually closed by the voice seeker before it reached its original deadline. 0 0 0 direct invitation(s) have been sent by the voice seeker resulting in 0 audition(s) and/or proposal(s) so far. “This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.”
In 1959, several independent Baptist churches recognized the need for a conservative Christian camp in the mid-west. From that burden was born Camp CoBeAc. Now, over 50 years later, God is still using this special place to change lives.
So, if you have never been here, or even if you haven’t been here in a while, what does Camp CoBeAc have to offer you? Well… Come and see!
(show a ton of clips of activity related events)
-With so many campers each week, team competitions are exciting, challenging and a ton of fun!
-Team enthusiasm is electric as cheering erupts before and after competitions.
-You’ll never be bored at free time with the countless activities available!
-If you like the water, then the lakefront with its blob, waterslide, boats and a whole lot more, will be a great place to hang out!
Though there is certainly enough to do at Camp CoBeAc to keep a camper busy, the main objective is to create an environment through preaching where campers can Believe on Christ.
Each week, campers will hear several Bible messages, spend time studying God’s Word in God and I time and have a daily challenge from their counselor.
Chapel services provide an exciting environment through powerful congregational singing, Christ-honoring specials and dynamic preaching. Preachers from all over the country speak multiple times allowing them to establish a rapport over the course of the week.
Each night, an invitation is given where young people are given the opportunity to speak with a counselor about their decision and fill out a decision slip that will be sent home with the sponsor.
Of course, all of this exists because we want each camper to Accept God’s call and plan for their life. Many of them respond to the preaching and allow God entrance into their hearts.
Camp CoBeAc provides a beautiful, safe, Christ-honoring environment where the Word of God is the final authority and where campers are challenged to live their lives according to it. So to fully understand “Camp CoBeAc” you must Come, Believe and Accept!
