Project Main Details

CME Course for Doctors
The tone of the voice over should be educational, informative, confident. No accents please.

This is NOT a sales or marketing piece so it is important that auditioners are careful to avoid something that sounds like we are trying to sell something.

This is for an online continuing medical education (CME) course for doctors, and that we are looking for a voice appropriate for this type of program - because the intended audience is physicians, the voice should not sound condescending or like the speaker is "talking down" to the audience.

We are interested in auditioning men only; "age" of the voice should be mid-30's to late 40's.

This is non-broadcast, and educational in nature.

Script Details

Sample script below provided by the seeker for auditions.
According to a landmark body image survey, the majority of women and almost half of men in the United States are dissatisfied with their appearance. Many of these people have tried diet and exercise without success and are looking for new options.

The two most popular surgical options for unwanted fat are liposuction and abdominoplasties, but these invasive procedures carry risks that include minor complications–such as small hematomas, seromas, or minor contour irregularities–and major complications such as–lidocaine toxicity, fluid overload, infection, skin perforation, major contour defects, skin necrosis, thermal injury, adverse anesthesia reaction, pulmonary embolus, and fat embolus.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
