Project Main Details
I have submitted a partial script here with various quotes. I am looking for character auditions for as many parts as you believe you can fill. You are welcome to read for multiple parts, if you believe you fit the role(s), as long as you make an effort to sound like the individual quoted. In the case where you do not know who the person quoted is, just use your best voice male or female and we will still consider it. We will pay a small amount for each of the quotes since they are so quick, so the more you can do, the better the rate. 2013-02-12 20:48:20 GMT 2013-02-14 19:00:00 (GMT -05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) Yes (click here to learn more about ) Closed 0 0 0 direct invitation(s) have been sent by the voice seeker resulting in 0 audition(s) and/or proposal(s) so far. Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined
Henry David Thoreau
There is always HOPE. No matter how dismal things appear, no matter how problem-prone we seem to be, no matter what reversals and setbacks we suffer, there is always hope. Hope is the thing that keeps us going.
Where does HOPE come from? Why should we have HOPE? Why do we keep on hoping even after we slow our diet or get a bad grade or lose a close game or get turned down in some way or another?
In all ages of time, people have felt a need for HOPE. There is a saying – a proverb – in Tongan that goes, “Ikai ke’I ai ha mamahi hange ha ‘amanaki to noa.” That means, “There is no pain so great as a hope unfulfilled.”
I am sure if I were familiar with other cultures – French or Russian or Chinese or another – there would be something similar, because it [HOPE] is in all people.
John H. Groberg, June 1984
Strength doesn’t come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming things you once thought you couldn’t.
Getting over a painful experience is much like crossing monkey bars. You have to let go at some point in order to move forward.
Every day ought to be the start of a new year and a new life.
Jeffrey R. Holland
The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would solve most the worlds problems.
There is no happiness except in the realization that we have accomplished something.
Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude.
Never quit. It is the easiest cop-out in the world. Set a goal and don't quit until you attain it. When you do attain it, set another goal, and don't quit until you reach it. Never quit!
The secret of getting ahead is getting started. The secret of getting started is breaking your complex, overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks, and then starting on the first one.
When you are asked if you can do a job, tell 'em, 'Certainly I can!' Then get busy and find out how to do it.
The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.
Thou shalt not forget that money is only money and not character or fame.
Steven J. Lee
Your net worth to the world is usually determined by what remains after your bad habits are subtracted from your good ones.
Wealth consists not in having great possessions, but in having few wants.
A big part of financial freedom is having your heart and mind free from worry about the what-ifs of life.
Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass anyways.
We become so caught up in the busyness of our lives. Were we to step back, however, and take a good look at what we’re doing, we may find that we have immersed ourselves in the “thick of thin things.” In other words, too often we spend most of our time taking care of the things which do not really matter much at all in the grand scheme of things, neglecting those more important causes.
Thomas S. Monson
