Project Main Details

CB Campaign Dialog
We are seeking VO to accompany short, topical, informational videos promoting a candidate for a non-partisan, elected county position.

The ideal voice is authoritative, but with a warm side. Perhaps a bit like the late Don LaFontaine (not late night infomercial).

The project consists of 7 individual scripts, which all together total 775 words. We need the first script (112 words, about 45 seconds) very, very quickly - end of day Friday, Dec. 28. The remaining scripts can be delivered the following week.

Prefer talent who can deliver production ready files: AIFF/WAV, 48kHz, 16bit.

Script Details

***please submit custom audition***
Submitting a sample from the script is not necessary. A sample script is included below as an example of the content:

When he was a little boy, Cary Brazeman’s first words were probably a question.

“Why is the sky blue?” Cary likely asked his mother. “Why is this food so mushy? Where did you get this snappy outfit?”

As he got older, Cary’s questions got tougher … considerably!

When the City was considering the proposed downtown stadium deal, Cary asked about the lease terms, the sign district revenue and the risk to taxpayers.

As a result of his questions and others from the community, City leaders improved the deal to reduce taxpayer exposure.

As the next City Controller, count on Cary to ask more tough questions to protect taxpayers and help fix the city.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
