Hello,

We are looking for a male voice talent to record a audio narration for a documentary video.

We are producing a short video for a museum exhibit kiosk at the Commemorative Air Force museum in Midland Texas. The video will be shown in a video kiosk at the museum.

The video is about WWII aircraft and pilots, so the voice should have a stoic, strong presence without seeming cheesy.

The entire 600 word script is attached below. ALL RESPONDING TALENT MUST INCLUDE:
1. total buyout price to record and deliver audio as AIFF or MP3 via email or ftp
2. custom reading of the first sentence of the script. You can include watermark if necessary.

Thanks,
Carl

Script Details

Yes
Script provided by the seeker:

As the nation’s largest collection of vintage warbirds, and the seventh largest air force in the world, the CAF maintains and files historic military aircraft from World War II and subsequent conflicts of the 20th Century. The Commemorative Air Force AIRSHO provides a living history of these combat aircraft.

The organization known as the CAF, was formed in 1957 by five pilots who pooled their resources together to purchase a P-51 Mustang. Over the next several years, the organization purchased additional World War II aircraft to restore and fly.

In 1963, the CAF organized the first AIRSHO at Rebel Field outside Mercedes, Texas. After this initial success, the AIRSHO became an annual event for the organization; an event that now attracts tens of thousands of spectators from around the world. The CAF AIRSHO is now held every fall in Midland, Texas. The CAF has also expanded into an AIRSHO circuit, which holds regional reenactments in over a dozen cities around the country.

Since these early beginnings, the CAF has grown in both membership and aircraft. The organization now boasts over 11,000 members and more than 160 aircraft including fighters, bombers and transports in what is known as the “Ghost Squadron”.

The CAF AIRSHO is the CAF’s largest reenactment, drawing pilots and aircraft from the 70 squadrons and detachments the group maintains around the country.

The typical CAF AIRSHO schedule follows the sequence of conflicts during World War II; starting with the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. CAF pilots reenact the surprise attack, combining aerobatic maneuvers with simulated bomb explosions and pyrotechnics.

Other reenactments include the Airpower Demonstration, which showcases the might of the American bombers, which served important roles in the European and Pacific theaters. The demonstration also highlights the fighters that defended Allied interests, by engaging in both air to land and air to air combat. In addition, there are also tributes to the trainers and liaison planes that played crucial roles behind the scenes.

The final demonstration is the reenactment of the historic flight of the B-29 that flew over Hiroshima, and ultimately helped end World War II. The demonstration includes a simulated mushroom cloud of the atomic explosion, as well as a minute of silence for remembrance of the tens of thousands of Japanese that lost their lives that day.

Every year, the CAF also invites outside performers to AIRSHO. These performances have varied over the years and have included: wing walkers, the Canadian Snowbirds, The Trojan Horsemen and various aerobatic pilots including the Fina Extra 300L.

Some of the most popular events at AIRSHO are the heritage flights, which pair historic military aircraft with their modern-day counterparts. Each year, the AIRSHO plays host to a variety of modern military aircraft ranging from the B1B Bomber to the F-16, and F117-A Stealth Bomber.

Many of the aircraft at AIRSHO are parked and open for inspection by visitors. The range of aircraft is astounding; including the finest bomber and fighter aircraft of World War II, and various helicopter and support aircraft from the Vietnam era.

The AIRSHO provides a rare opportunity to see these aircraft in action. Many of the war birds are the only remaining aircraft of their type still in flying condition. AIRSHO reenactments create a direct link for younger generations to experience and learn about the historic aircraft that led the way to victory in World War II. The CAF AIRSHO provides all generations the rare opportunity to see these aircraft in action and brings the history of America's aviation heritage alive by honoring America's legacy of Freedom.
