Relax on the beach catch some rays or enter into some fast-paced action like jet skiing, windsurfing, para-sailing, kayaking, power boating and sailing to name just a few.
Bordered by Mexico to the north and Guatemala to the west and south, Belize is the only Central American country where English is the official language
It boasts mountains, a tropical rain forest, numerous waterfalls, and of course, the beautiful turquoise of the Caribbean Sea, which forms the country’s entire eastern border.
The coast is lined sandy beaches and the Belize Barrier Reef, the western hemisphere’s longest, second only to the Great Barrier Reef of Australia.
Thousands of aquatic species make the reef their home, including seals, turtles, manatees, dolphins, and many species of fish including the colorful Queen Angel,

Carnival Cruise Lines has begun construction on the biggest undertaking in the history of the company with a gigantic BZ$100 million terminal project, including a pier and plans for a casino and resort hotel at the Belize City Port.
Belize offers one of the largest concentration of caves in the world with over 1,500 caves laying beneath the rain forest floor. And speaking of exploration, what adventure would be complete without trekking the mystical temple-pyramids and city ruins of the Maya throughout Belize.
Belize is a small, private-enterprise economy. Tourism is the number one foreign exchange earner but recent oil discoveries in Belize have helped bolster its economic growth.
Government Policies favoring Foreign Investment include:
