Script Details

British male voice over talents only, please.
The subject matter is quite intense so we would prefer a rather somber read without being sleepy. Laid back is much preferred over authoritative.

Please provide a sample, or all, of this script in your audition. Thank you again ~
One of the world’s last, great wildlife reserves, the Massai Mara region of southern Kenya is a landscape that is home to thousands of animal species. The diverse and lush ecosystem makes the land a perfect environment for the African elephant.

But elephants in Kenya and around the world suffer great threats. Poaching for elephant’s highly valuable ivory caused their populations in 37 range countries to dwindle from an estimated 1.3 million elephants to 600,000 throughout the 1970’s and 80’s.
After Kenya banned the international trade of ivory in 1989, elephant populations rebounded there throughout the 1990’s and 2000’s.

But more recently, resurgence in the demand for ivory threatens their survival. It is estimated that over 100 elephants are killed each day, nearly 40,000 annually.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
