Project Main Details

Audiobook Voice Roster
We produce audiobooks for publishers.

We have been working with Voice123 for some time now and will continue doing so as long as they will have us. We are always impressed with the quality of auditions we get for our audiobook projects.

We are currently establishing a partnership program with one of the highest volume publishers in the world. In anticipation of the large increase in the number of audiobook production projects that we will be doing on a regular basis we are looking for both Male and Female Pro Voice-Talents that can deliver fully produced and finished retail-quality audio files.

We would like to add at least 100 new voice pros to our North American English roster, 50 to our English - British roster and at least 10 voice pros fluent in each of the following languages:

English – Australian / NZ
English –South African
French – Canadian
French European
Spanish – Mexican
Spanish – (Other)

The fee for most of these audiobook projects will be 5 cents per word for finished retail-ready audio files. Audio recorded in languages other than English will receive an extra 2 cents per word if the script is provided to you in Enlglish for translation as you record. If the script is written in the language requested, the standard 5 cent per word fee will apply. Please inform us if you would like to record languages other than English but cannot translate. Also let us know if you do character voices or only straight reads. Both types are needed.

If you would like to be considered for addition to our roster please choose one of the two scripts below, then record and submit it through Voice 123. Please check for quality of recording before you submit the audio. These projects will require fully produced and finished audio files. Your audition will be considered on the basis of production quality as well as voice skill.

We look forward to working with you.

Thank you,

Audition Choice 1.

…The frigate approached noiselessly, stopped at two cables'
lengths from the animal, and following its track. No one breathed; a deep silence reigned on the bridge. We were not a hundred feet from the burning focus, the light of which increased and dazzled our eyes.

At this moment, leaning on the forecastle bulwark, I saw below me Ned Land grappling the martingale in one hand, brandishing his terrible harpoon in the other, scarcely twenty feet from the motionless animal. Suddenly his arm straightened, and the harpoon was thrown; I heard the sonorous stroke of the weapon, which seemed to have struck a hard body. The electric light went out suddenly, and two enormous waterspouts broke over the bridge of the frigate, rushing like a torrent from stem
to stern, overthrowing men, and breaking the lashings of the spars. A fearful shock followed, and, thrown over the rail without having time to stop myself, I fell into the sea…

Audition Choice 2.

…suddenly a White Rabbit with pink eyes ran close by her.

There was nothing so VERY remarkable in that; nor did Alice
think it so VERY much out of the way to hear the Rabbit say to
itself, `Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be late!' (when she thought
it over afterwards, it occurred to her that she ought to have
wondered at this, but at the time it all seemed quite natural);
but when the Rabbit actually TOOK A WATCH OUT OF ITS WAISTCOAT- POCKET, and looked at it, and then hurried on, Alice started to her feet, for it flashed across her mind that she had never before seen a rabbit with either a waistcoat-pocket, or a watch to take out of it, and burning with curiosity, she ran across the field after it, and fortunately was just in time to see it pop down a large rabbit-hole under the hedge.

In another moment down went Alice after it, never once considering how in the world she was to get out again.
