Project Main Details
I have an 20 page eBook I would like to turn into an easy to listen to Audio EBook to be distributed online to a small group of people no more than 2,000 people - so the distribution is limited and this is a value add project not one that will be broadcast on national TV or sent out to millions of people.
The project is to take a text eBook and turn it into a audio eBook and part of this project is to write a script and add in any sound elements into the project as needed.
This may require more than one voice talent or a person able to do different voices.
Also if you have other ideas or can provide other audio elements such as background music beds or bring in other people to do mock conversations etc.
The end result will be a very professional sounding audio eBook branded to my website and my name that will be easy for people to download and listen to on their IPods.
One of the problem with text eBooks is no one has time to read them – if we make an audio ebook that is fun and easy to listen to I think people will respond better to it.
One thought I had was having it be like a classroom where you might have a student ask how something is done and then you would go into the next part.
Any of your ideas and thoughts would be appreciated and there would be plenty of room here for you to adlib and give it any kind of style you think works.
The tone on this should be like a friendly talk radio show – easy to listen to and come off as almost a conversation.
The subject of the ebook is online marketing and it is a how to guide for new online marketers.
Not 100% sales pitch hype but we want to keep people reading and remind them that that they are learning everything they need to be millionaires – there is an aspect of selling the dream that we always need to do in this ebook – that is without sounding to full of BS.
I will be burning these on CDROM AND DVD so you will be recording in the highest quality.
Also we would need a few “small shot sound bits to use in the commercials – on our “pitch page”
Currently this is about 20 pages total in ebook format (not a script)
I am trying to brand my personal name and website so any audio sound bits or thoughts on that we can use all throughout the book would be good.

Common Payment Models
Before you even think about becoming an affiliate marketer, you’re probably going to want to know about some of the potential ways you’ll make money doing this. What follows are the payment models most often associated with affiliate marketing. Note: some of these models apply to Internet marketing as a whole as well.
Pay-Per-Click - Also know as cost per click to a merchant.
This type of payment model is used in other Internet marketing tactics besides affiliate marketing. However, it is quickly fading as the model of choice. An affiliate signs up for a company’s program and display that company’s ads on their website or blog. When a visitor goes to the website and clicks on this ad, the affiliate gets a commission. Affiliates are paid for redirecting a potential customer to the company site. A potential customer means a potential sale. And a potential sale means a commission for you.
Pay-Per-Impression ALSO KNOWN AS: A CPM MODEL to the merchant.
Pay-per-impression is also used in regular Internet marketing. It was nearly abandoned when “click fraud” was on the rise. Click fraud occurred when an affiliate would drum up false site hits in order to rake in more revenue. However, more advanced systems are now in place to prevent click fraud, making these “oldie but goodie” marketing models still applicable. The pay-per-impression model works like this: the affiliate places an ad on their website for a company. The company then pays the affiliate a set price per so many page impressions. This means that each time the ad is displayed (each time the website is viewed) it counts as one impression. Affiliates are typically paid per 1000 impressions.
Pay-Per-Lead -- cost per lead to the merchant.
Now we’re getting into the more popular payment models for affiliate marketing. A pay-per-lead plan involves the affiliate placing an ad on their site for a company or product. But visitors can’t just click on this link. Once they click on the link, they have to perform a specific action, like fill out a form with their contact information. This way, the company can then contact the visitor and possibly turn them into a customer. Portion of the script provided for audition purposes only:
