Script Details
STORYTELLER: On a fine spring day in our present time, Mister Cassidy the Groundskeeper was out tending his flowerbeds in front of the old Sturridge Manor house when he looked up and saw an old repair truck coming up the gravel driveway. That would be Michael Hanniford, the young carpenter the Hendricks had hired, coming from the boarding school with his two boys. Mister Cassidy smiled as he walked over to where Michael had parked his truck at the far end of the driveway and then he watched as two boys who were still dressed in their neat school blazers and neckties got out of the truck with their Dad.
MISTER CASSIDY: (COMING ON) Good evening to you Michael Hanniford. Are those your two boys you’ve been telling me about?
MICHAEL: Yes Mister Cassidy, this is Eric.
ERIC: (BOLD) Hi there!
STORYTELLER: Just turned thirteen-year old Eric was a fair-haired and bold boy who loved being in the outdoors and working with his hands just like his Dad.
MICHAEL: And this is Steven.
STEVEN: (SHY AND POLITE) Hello Sir.
