Project Main Details
Specifically, looking for the voice of a mature adult male to play the part of the sinister (but not over the top) villain.
Voice Actors must have access to their own recording equipment, and have ability to provide lines in .mp3 or .wav format. Final audios can be upload onto our FTP server. Please submit your quotes per page along with your character voice sample.
Gender: Male
Age: Mid-40’s-50’s.
Character Notes: He is a formerly exalted military strategist from the People’s Republic of China. During the so-called “Great Leap Forward” in the late 1950’s/early 1960’s (an ill-conceived government plan that caused a famine and the death of nearly 40 million people) his parents fled to the island nation of Taiwan. Left as an orphan in the Chinese countryside, he was raised by foster-parents and eventually joined the army. For 20 years, he rose to a level of prominence, until the government discovered that he was the son of deserters. Stripped of his rank and dismissed from the military, he seeks to find a way to restore honor to himself in the eyes of his country.
With a somewhat deep, sinister, scratchy voice… he is serious, intelligent, cordial, well spoken, and has a genuinely pleasant temperament. However, his is a villain, and is willing to go to great extremes (deception, murder, even genocide) to regain his standing.
Project is TOP SECRET, and chosen VA's will be required to sign NDA's to that effect.
